The Clifton Cub Scouts is officially known as Cub Scout Pack 2, Queen City South District, Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Chartered in 1945, the Clifton Cub Scouts is one of the oldest continuously operating Packs in the country. Our meetings are held at Calvary Episcopal Church, 3766 Clifton Avenue. We serve first through fifth grade boys and girls living and going to school in the surrounding area. Many of our scouts come from Fairview German Language School, Annunciation School in Clifton, and CANS.
Our Pack motto is “KISMIF” – Keep it Simple, Make it Fun. Our scouting year runs from late September through early June. We hold one Den meeting and one Pack meeting each month on Monday nights. In addition, we have fall and spring overnight camping trips and various outings throughout the year. Along with the fall and spring campouts, our annual pinewood derby, raingutter regatta, "I-Did-A-Box" race and bike rodeo are all highlights of our scouting year. Outings have included overnight stays at the Cincinnati Zoo, a trip to the U.S. Air Force Museum, visits to the Clifton Fire Station, a YMCA overnight with Boy Scout Troop 161 for our Webelos and visits to local parks.
